So pretend you have a line in there.

Now the angles 140 degrees will be split into 90 degrees and something else.


140-90= 50 degrees

Now you know that the triangle has two 50 degrees

Add those two together to make it easier

50 + 50 = 100

And a triangle has 180 degrees total

so now minus 100 from 180

180 - 100 = 80

And that means X = 80 degrees
