Answer:

Explanation:

Gandhi was known to be a political and a spiritual leader. Being someone to look up to, he had set himself as an example of childmarriage. Yes, he himself wrote his narrative on marriage with bitter regards of the past. He somehow blamed his father for making him marry early. He in fact stated how his early years could have dictated his life if had it not been for the death of the two girls chosen for him.

He clearly stated the difference between betrothed and marriage. The first being a preliminary promise to the parents of the girl and the boy that their child would be together. He claimed to be betrothed thrice and seven was his age on the final betrothment. The second, which is marriage, is having consent with both parties. He married early at the age of thirteen which for him was not appropriate.

In the end, he was very much concerned of how this will affect the persons involved within the relationship. He was after the health issue of young girls unfit to bear a child at a younger age and infants dying after delivery.

Answer & Explanation:

In Gandhi's chapter on child marriage in The Story of Experiments with Truth, he writes with a decidedly negative tone towards the subject. By calling writing the chapter a "bitter draught," he sets up that he is writing this chapter with a negative tone. Other words, such as "preposterously young age," also show that Gandhi is writing with a negative tone towards that subject of child marriage.

I like to read about ______ (historical event)
Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

I like to read about the cases of Plessy v Furgeson and Brown v The Board of Education.

Explanation:

These two topics in history are very interesting from my point of view. They talk about segregation in the school systems and general segregation. Brown v The Board of Education was a turning point in American schooling systems which allowed for Black and White people to attend the same schools ruling that separate was inherently not equal. Plessy v Furgeson is a case that resulted-in in school segregation in the first place.

By constantly shoving products in potential consumers' faces it instills the thought of purchasing the product in the back of their minds. The more annoying the ad the better because if something is annoying it remains in people's minds longer. Product placement is more effective to dedicated watchers of shows or movies because a lot of times dedicated viewers wanna be like their favorite character, even if it means just having the same sweater or pair of shoes as them.

3. Which of these is a reason why the python should be hunted? *
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer: Pythons are negatively affecting the local ecosystem.

Explanation:

Thousand of pythons are living in the Everglades, is just a fact.

Large rewards are being offered to capture and kill pythons, is also a statement. It's not a reason why pythons should be hunted, just a fact on what you'll get if you kill pythons. Of course... there is a reason why pythons should be hunted, but it is not stated here, so it's not the answer.

People who brought them here as pets created the problem. This isn't explaining the problem, just creating a scapegoat.
