Scientific inquiry refers to the stages and processes used to explain and investigate a question or problem of a scientific nature. The nine activities that scientists engage in as a part of scientific inquiry are; observation, defining the problem, forming a study question, researching the problem, stating the hypothesis, experimenting and gathering data, analyzing the results, reviewing the findings and communicating using different format.
