Answer:

The correct answer is A a ribosome reads the codon sequence at the 5" end of mRNA.

Explanation:

Translation is a process of central dogma of molecular biology which deals with the formation of protein molecule from an mRNA molecule in the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cell and in the nucleus of prokaryotic cell.

During the initiation of translation the Ribosome along with its smaller subunit binds to the first codon(AUG) of mRNA and read that codon from the 5" end and after doing this ribosome moves to the next codon.

Which of the following characteristics can distinguish bacterial cells from cells in the other domains of life
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

The characteristic that can distinguish bacterial cells from cells in the other domains of life is that only bacterial cells have peptidoglycan cell wells.

What is the major difference between a bacterial cell and the cells of other organisms?

Animal and plant cells are different from bacterial cells in a number of ways. One key distinction is that, unlike plant and animal cells, bacterial cells lack internal organelles including mitochondria, chloroplasts, and a nucleus.

Bacteria can be categorised according to their morphology, such as bacilli (rod-shaped), cocci (sphere-shaped), and spirilli (spirals). In that they have cytoplasm, ribosomes, and a plasma membrane, bacteria resemble eukaryotic cells. A bacterial cell can be distinguished from a eukaryotic cell by its circular nucleoid DNA, absence of membrane-bound organelles, peptidoglycan cell wall, and flagella.

Please I need help with this question ASAP:
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

After having a carbohydrate rich meal concentration of some hormones, especially insulin change in your body. Insulin promotes the uptake of glucose by cells(particularly muscle cells, adipocytes, liver cells). It also increases the rate of glycolysis and glycogenesis and decreases the rate of gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis.

These important metabolic pathways cause burning up glucose to make ATP that all cells in our body need and also storing it in the form of glycogen in the liver which is a very important food storage. Metabolism of carbohydrates also causes fat to be deposited in adipocytes which is basically why we have stuff like keto diets(no or very little carbohydrates and mainly fats consumed) for losing weight!

10] Hydrogen:

Number of protons = 1

Number of neutrons = 0

Number of electrons = 1

Atomic number = 1

Helium:

Number of protons = 2

Number of neutrons = 2

Number of electrons = 2

Atomic number = 2

Note:

Atomic number = proton number

Neutron number = Mass number - atomic number

Number of electrons = number of protons
