Activists are people who campaign for social or political change. They do public protest or rally. They serve as the voice for those who can't express their deep concern for the society.

One of the most well-known activists is the LGBT group. LGBT stands for "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender". They call for a change in the way people treat them. They want freedom of expression. They want the society not to arbitrate their means of showing up themselves.

Another one is the women's rights activists. It's a group of women trying to call for equal rights and opportunities for all men and women.

Some other activists are the following:
- animal rights advocates
-civil rights leaders
- environmental organizations
- peace activists
( I bet it's self-explanatory what these activists are trying to reform.)

Laissez-faire economics and tariffs--the 1920s presidents supported a hands-off approach to the economy and taxes on imported goods.

Conservatives believe the government should not regulate the economy and allow it to grow as needed. They were more pro-business than worker, limited support for unions. Tariffs were passed in the 1920s to promote American business instead of foreign imports.

noname [10]

Answer:

Great Awakening united evangelicals across various denominations around shared beliefs. However, it also led to division in existing churches between those who supported the revivals and those who did not. Additionally, it increased the number of African slaves and free blacks who were exposed to and subsequently converted to Christianity and also inspired the founding of new missionary societies, such as the Baptist Missionary Society in 1792.

Explanation:

Great Awakening in the US or the Evangelical Revival in the UK   was a series of Christian revivals that swept Britain and its thirteen North American colonies between 1730 and 1749. The revival movement permanently affected Protestantism as adherents strove to renew individual piety and religious devotion.
