Answer: The three foundation theories behind inquiry based learning are

Behaviorism.

Constructivism.

Cognitive perspectives.

Explanation:

Inquiry based learning is a type of active learning that start by a process of asking questions or problems rather than first presenting informations or ideas or knowledge. It is normally carried out by facilators. The inquirers will first identify and investigate questions and profer solutions to it.

The three foundation theories are:

Behaviorism is a learning theory that indicate that behaviors are acquired and learned from the environment through social interaction with the environment.

Congnitve perspective is a learning theory that that entails and give a full explanation of all those secret processes that take place in the brain.

Constructivism is a learning theory which focuses of individual own experiences and we use the experiences from own to appreciate the happenings of the world.
