"Chicks," is the answer, because a simple subject tells us who is performing the action. When looking for the simple subject, leave out any modifiers or descriptors (e.g. "five fuzzy") because you want the subject to be simple. I hope that makes sense!

Here's an example: "The bright blue bird landed on a nearby tree." The simple subject is, "bird." ("bright blue" is a modifier/descriptor and is not a part of the simple subject)

the meaning of prompt in this text would be "to do something under a specific time limit" or "done without delay" so you have to "identify and number all the tasks within the time limit"

hope this helps!

Read the excerpt from sir Gawain and the green knight
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

She is held in high esteem.

Explanation:

The phrase to hold (someone) in high esteem means to admire or respect someone very much. It's the same phrase as to hold (someone) in high regard.

Based on the given excerpt, we can conclude that Guenever, King Arthur's wife, is held in high esteem. She sits among Arthur's best knights, and they respect her. She feels comfortable around them (she is described as in high spirits). She is dressed in the finest silk and has ornaments made of jewels. It's obvious that she is treated well by everyone surrounding her.

The rest of the options are incorrect as there is nothing leading us to make such conclusions. This is why the fourth option is the correct one.
