Answer: D. King of Kings

Darius was the fourth king of the Persian Achaemenid Empire. Darius is one of the most famous Persian kings, as he ruled the empire at its peak. Although the king met with rebellions several times, he was able to control them every time. Darius was responsible for implementing Aramaic as the official language of the empire, and for developing a new monetary system. He also contributed to the centralization and unification of the empire.

Why was the "war between the states" or the "war of the rebellion" called the first modern war? what were the major differences
sesenic [268]
Many historians might argue this point....   First modern war some consider was the Franco - Prussian war.

The massive amount of technology used.
Minnie balls, lever action guns, Gatling guns, trains, telegraph, air balloons.

North had more people, machines, and factories.  They fought with one arm behind their back.  Yale or Harvard had the row club all four years of the Civil War.

South had more mountains, but relied on other countries to supply their arms. Relied on cotton.  Thought English would join for that reason.  However, England found other countries to buy from.

I suggest watching the Ken Burns Civil War videos.  Long but very informative.

Which privilege of the patricians do you think Best enable them to keep power? why?
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

The privilege of the patricians that enable them to keep power is that "Patricians are the only ones who are judges, interpret laws, and preside over trials."

Explanation:

Unlike Plebians, Patricians are those people who are related in family lines to the first senators. They then gained power which they used to their advantage.

Patricians however, assumed the position of making laws. Hence, the privilege of the patricians that enable them to keep power is that "Patricians are the only ones who are judges, interpret laws, and preside over trials."
