1. Our Town is a play that sparks feelings of nostalgia in many readers and viewers. This nostalgia can be largely attributed to

Thornton Wilder’s depiction of the town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, as a simple yet charming place to live. Think about a place where you have lived or where you have spent a fair amount of time. What aspects of that place are you nostalgic for? What things (sights, smells, sounds, and/or events) tend to spark these feelings of nostalgia?

I am nostalgic for the happy memories in my childhood and with people I spent time with. The voices and faces of people I love especially those I have not seen for a long time spark these feelings of nostalgia. Remembering the past is a way of shaping my hopes for the future.

In the context of raising furor about failing American schools, identify a true statement about current public schools
Misha Larkins [42]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

A true statement about current public schools in the United States is the following.

The role education plays in the United States society is of the utmost importance for the thriving of the American people and the nation. Through education, people can change their lives and aspire to have better opportunities to live, economically, culturally, and socially. Unfortunately, there is a questionable side in which schools in America expose inequalities and race issues nationwide due to class, ethnic and gender aspects. This can reflect a considerable difference in learning for minority groups, although the school environment could be similar.
