Hi there, I believe the answer is 48 ft.

You can begin with drawing a right triangle. With the right triangle, the 80 ft ladder would be the side of the triangle that's leaning- the diagonal line or hypotenuse. Directly across from that, the leg, or the vertical line, would be considered the 64 ft building. The horizontal line is what you're looking for. This is looking like the Pythagorean theorem of a^2 + b^2 = c^2.

However, in this case, the "c" is the 80 because it is the hypotenuse and you can plug in the 64 as either a or b.

It should look something similar to this:

64^2 + b^2 = 80^2

You can work out the math from here by subtracting 64^2 from both sides and take that number to get the square root of b which should get you 48ft.

I think the answer would be 48

x ^2 + 64^2= 80^2

x^2 + 4096 = 6400

6400 - 4096 = 2304

x^2=2304

do the square root of 2304

x= 48

Sophie [7]

Answer:

  4 minutes 5 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

Without additional information, we have to assume that one sequence can begin immediately after another, and that each takes the same amount of time. The total time for 7 sequences is 7 times the time for one sequence.

  7 × 35 seconds = 245 seconds = 4 minutes 5 seconds

__

There are 60 seconds in a minute.

What are the following numbers writen as powers? 243
puteri [66]

Answer:

243=3^5

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to write 243 as a power of some number.

So, if we factorize 243 we get,

243 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3

Therefore, we can write 243 as a power of 3.

No other number can be written in powers of 243 because it do not contain any other factor than 3.

Hence, 243 can be written as :

243=3^5
