Answer:

A. In my opinion, the most important thing The Mississippi River symbolizes in Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” is freedom.

Explanation:

In "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" Huck runs away from home using the Mississippi River. Huck runs away because his father is an extremely violent and abusive man that makes Huck very unhappy and does not have a happy and fun childhood.

When Huck runs away, he is free of everything bad that his father puts in his life and across the river he gets freedom and lives many adventures where he learns a lot about life. For this reason, we can confirm that the Mississippi River can represent several things, but the most important of these is undoubtedly freedom.

3.) Which is the better buy? $3.40 for a 12 ounce bag of chips or $.75 for a 3 ounce bag of chips?
Anna35 [415]

Answer: it would be better to buy the 3 ounces because it’s cheaper. If you multiply .75 times 4 it would come out to 3.00 saving you 40 cents. .75 if the cost of a 3 ounce bag and 4 is how many times 3 goes into 12.

Describe the persuasive appeal of Dr.King's "I Have a Dream" speech. refer to specific persuasive devices and literary elements
OlgaM077 [116]
Dr King's speech is chock full of figures of speech and metaphors so that the whole speech is just extremely persuasive and uplifting in its strong message that now is the time to end discrimination and make the Declaration of Independence true for everyone regardless of race, color or creed. He spoke of "millions of Negro slaves  who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice". He also said that 100 years after Lincoln's signing of the Proclamation of Emanicipation "the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of prosperity".
