Answer:

A. In my opinion, the most important thing The Mississippi River symbolizes in Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” is freedom.

Explanation:

In "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" Huck runs away from home using the Mississippi River. Huck runs away because his father is an extremely violent and abusive man that makes Huck very unhappy and does not have a happy and fun childhood.

When Huck runs away, he is free of everything bad that his father puts in his life and across the river he gets freedom and lives many adventures where he learns a lot about life. For this reason, we can confirm that the Mississippi River can represent several things, but the most important of these is undoubtedly freedom.

Read the excerpt from "Verses Upon the Burning of our House." Here stood that Trunk, and there that chest, There lay that store
Klio2033 [76]

The connotative meaning of the word “trunk” in the poem is “a container”. In the poem “Verses Upon the Burning of our House” by Anne Bradstreet (1666), the author expresses the traumatic loss of her home and her possessions. After awakening to the tragic event, she goes outside and watches her house and possessions burning down. Once the fire has been put out, she mourns for the physical items destroyed: the trunk and the chest, everything she “counted best”; her “pleasant things”.

3. Why don't the men on the ranch accept Crooks as their equal?write a paragraph
Katyanochek1 [597]
Answer: Crooks is so named because of a crooked back caused by a kick from a horse. Crooks is the stable hand who takes care of the horses and lives by himself because he is the only black man on the ranch. Along with Candy, Crooks is a character used by Steinbeck to show the effects of discrimination. This time the discrimination is based on race, and Crooks is not allowed in the bunkhouse with the white ranch hands. He has his own place in the barn with the ranch animals.

!!! 20 POINTS PLEASE ANSWER!!!
astra-53 [7]
Hard choosing from "A" to "D", but my best answer that I came up with is "D" or "4"
The word "Who's" is a plural and actual stands for "Who is" So if you put that in that sentence "Who is book about blue whales is this?" Or for "2" the word "Whomever's" doesn't make since in the sentence.. "Whomever's book about blue whales is this?" And the same with "3". But with "4" "Whose" It fits in that sentence.. "Whose book about blue whales is this?" It's best if you read the sentence out loud and see which word best fits in that sentence.
