In chapter 4 of anything but typical, Jason Blake was explaining how him and his brother were nothing alike. Yet he was the one being blamed for his younger brothers behavior, as his mother said it was a “modeled behavior.”. Jason had also explained how he knew his mother had been protective of his younger brother, by caring him wherever she had went. He had given us detail of his grandmother and how he didn't truly care too much for her, along with the fact he'd rather be with his mother.
I believe that you need to pursue excellence rather than success, because living with the personality of pursuing excellence from experience is far more important since without experience, you’ll never experience real or genuine success.

The similarities of Your net truths speech and Chisholm speech:
1. Both were African American woman's
2. Faced discrimination by local white people and dealt with segregation
3. Both were slaves
4. Both stood for equal rights from the society that promoted segregation so they both fought for freedom and equal opportunities
Differences:
1. Sojourner speech was in Ohio in 1851
Shirley Chisholm in 1969 approx like 22 or 23 years later
2. Chisholm was intelligent to know that discrimination against black people isn't right on the suppose freedom that America can offer
3. Chisholm viewed the society was built on a unfair system that was built on prejudices
Hope this helps! :)
