Women in the 1950's dressed in unpadded, rounded shoulders, shapely bust lines,  closely-defined waistlines, and fully, billowy skirts. Men dressed very casual, casual pants/trousers/slacks, and sport coasts. The colors usually consisted of grey, brown or dark blue. The feeling of interacting with people back in the 50's was very different, it was much more free and more trusting.
