Answer:

y = - 4x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Calculate m using the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ )= (1, - 2) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (2, - 6) ← 2 ordered pairs from the table

m = \frac{-6+2}{2-1} = \frac{-4}{1} = - 4, thus

y = - 4x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c use any ordered pair from the table

Using (1, - 2), then

- 2 = - 4 + c ⇒ c = - 2 + 4 = 2

y = - 4x + 2 ← equation in slope- intercept form

A square has 9 inch sides . Every side of a pentagon is also 9 inches long are the perimeters the same
DaniilM [7]
No because a pentagon has more sides than a square does.
to find perimeter you have to add up all the sides.
for the square it would be 9+9+9+9 which is 36

for the pentagon it would be 9+9+9+9+9 which is 42.

Step-by-step explanation:

A) Smaller Right cylinder V≈565.49   cubic inches

B) Smaller cone V≈188.5  cubic inches

C)  Cylinder right prism V≈1696.46  cubic inches

D) Right circular cone V≈565.49     cubic inches

E ) Sphere V≈904.78 cubic inches

1b) Volume of sphere/volume of smaller cone

is 904.78/188.5=  4.7998938992  =  x4.80 greater.
