Correct answer choice is:

2. Bedrock structure and climate variations.

Explanation:

Factors influencing landscape design incorporate physical, geological, topographical, climatic, regional vegetation features, and material and available technology.

In this connection, it is essential for the designer to recognize the land features of the design space, climatic circumstances, environmental and individual circumstances by executing field studies before beginning work. Thus, the design will be more long-lasting and sustainable.

The two factors which have the most influence on the development of landscape features are:
2. Bedrock structure and climatic variations
4. the rate of erosion and fossils in the bedrock.

Landscapes are generally changed by weathering and climatic events. For example, sandstone is softer than basalt so the same climatic event will cause different rates of weathering. A flash flood will break away greater chunks of the sandstone than it will of the basalt. Wind is another important means of weathering away stone and rock into to the interesting shapes found in buttes and mesas.

How did the battle in the Atlantic end between the Allies and Nazis?
meriva

The Battle of the Atlantic took place throughout the northern region of the Atlantic Ocean. Once the United States entered the war the battle spread all the way to the coast the United States and the Caribbean Sea.  The battle lasted over 5 years and 8 months from September 3, 1939 to May 8, 1945. The control of the Atlantic had a major impact on the outcome of the war. Keeping Britain supplied helped to keep the Germans from taking over all of Western Europe. The losses in the battle were staggering. Over 30,000 sailors were killed on each side. The Allies lost around 3,500 supply ships and 175 warships. The Germans lost 783 submarines.

Fun Facts:

Winston Churchill first called it the "Battle of the Atlantic" in 1941.

It was estimated that at least 20 supply ships needed to arrive each day in Britain in order for them to continue to fight the war.

The Allies lost 1,664 supply ships in 1942.

The Germans sometimes used a "wolf pack" tactic where a number of submarines would surround and attack a supply convoy at once.

Allied planes used a large spotlight called the Leigh Light to spot submarines that had surfaced at night.

The Gobi Desert spans across these two countries.
dem82 [27]
The Gobi Desert spans across Mongolia and China. It specifically runs across northwestern and northern China and Southern Mongolia. The Gobi is a large desert region in Asia and is a rain shadow desert formed by the Himalaya range blocking rain-carrying clouds from the Indian Ocean from reaching the Gobi territory. The Gobi is most notable for it being the location for several important cities in the Silk Road and as part of the Great Mongol Empire.
