The name Persia was given to the Iranian by the foreign government because they were influenced once by the Russian. But Iranian state granted a request that all countries with diplomatic relations be called Persian. This is how the Europeans ended calling IranasPersia
Because of these changes, Persia got free from the hands of the Russians and British and became to be known Iran. The name changes also nodded the population change and encompassed all entities and not only the Iranians.
