Since 1923 a rock found with inscriptions have been studied. The symbols look just like Viking Runes that would sustain the theory that Vigings have been to America long before Columbus. ANSWER ASAP PLEASE AND THANK YOU!! :)) Why were legal systems like the Code of Hammurabi and the Ten Commandments important for
Levart [38]

Answer:

The correct answer is:

1. They prevent revenge killing by requiring punishment or compensation for wrongdoing.

Explanation:

The Code of Hammurabi is the first written law in human history, and it is important because it established punishments for certain crimes. That is why both this code and Ten Commandments are important, because they prevented anarchy. For every crime in the Code of Hammurabi you had a certain punishment, very often even a death sentence.

The second one is not correct because it cannot apply to Ten Commandments.

The third one is also not correct because the legal systems for not developed in that period that much.

patriot [66]
<span>The Mayflower Compact was an agreement signed by the male passengers of the Mayflower and which served as the foundational governing agreement of the Plymouth colony. The Compact said that it was necessary to form a 'civil body politic' so that the colonists could be 'better ordered', or organized, to accomplish their shared goal of establishing an English colony in North America, and so that they would have the basis for establishing whatever laws, ordinances and offices they found necessary for accomplishing that goal.</span>

Is global history the same as world history and I need explanation
denis23 [38]

Answer:

World history, global history or transnational history is a field of historical study that emerged as a distinct academic field in the 1980s. It examines history from a global perspective. World History looks for common patterns that emerge across all cultures.Based on these definitions, the process of globalization largely differentiates global and world history. World history encompasses a history that is not necessarily completely interconnected through globalization, while global history examines this specific history of interconnectivity.
