Fourth root of 128x^7 y^7  = ⁴√(128x⁷y⁷)

We would then expand (128x⁷y⁷)

                                     = ⁴√(2*2*2*2*2*2*2*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*y*y*y*y*y*y*y)

For every four 2's we bring out one 2 out of the radical, and for every four x's and four y's we bring out one x and one y out of the radical.

                                    = (2*x*y)   ⁴√(2*2*2*x*x*x*y*y*y)

                                    = (2*x*y)    ⁴√(8x³y³)

                                   = 2xy  ⁴√(8x³y³)

Note the 4 is associated with the radical sign which covers 8x³y³

elena55 [62]

Answer:

x = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

65 + 55 = 120

angle B must equal 60

angle B is labeled as 2x

set up equation to solve for 'x': 2x = 60

                                                     x = 30

add up all angles to make sure you get 180 degrees

1. Petra works as a delivery person for a restaurant. The graph shows a linear model for her
Charra [1.4K]

Answer: The points are, the top left one, (21,3) and the one on the bottom is (6, 12)

Step-by-step explanation: For the slope, we label one of the points, with y or x. For example, (21, 3) we would label 21 either y1 or x1. Say we put y2, then 3 would be x2. Moving on, (6,12) this time we could label 6 as either y1 or x1. Same thing, but this time we are going to label 6 as y1 and 12 x1. Again, it’s DOES NOT matter what you label them as.

Now to solve it, remember y numbers always go on top! M which is slope. M = y2 - y 1 / x2 - x 1 or with the numbers M = 21 - 6 / 12 - 3 = 15/9 simplified = 5/3

A student has some $1 and $5 bills in his wallet. He has a total of 11 bills that are worth $31. How many of each type of bil
aleksley [76]

Answer:

6 $1 bills, 5 $5 bills

Step-by-step explanation:

Say the student has x $1 bills.

Then they have 11 - x $5 bills.

31 = 1 * x + (11 - x) * 5 = 55 - 4x

4x = 55 - 31 = 24

x = 6

So, they have 6 $1 bills and 11 - 6 = 5 $5 bills
