Answer:

Colonists wanted to go west for new land, but the British did not want them to.

Explanation:

The colonists expected that with the acquisition of western lands, Britain would allow them to move westwards. This reasoning was based on two major factors:

1) The Eastern coast was getting overpopulated, and there was not enough land to sustain the colonists.

2) The Colonies 'helped' Britain defeat the French, therefore they should also receive the land.

In turn, Britain did not see it that way.

As of point 2, Britain saw that they were the ones who helped the Colonists survive, protecting them. In return, they believed that the colonies should help pay for war debts, and started what was later known as the Intolerable Acts.

For point 1, Britain wanted to keep a positive relationship with the Western Native American Tribes, and forbade the colonists to enter for fear of damage to native relations.

How does genocide go against human rights?
Fantom [35]

One of the most basic human rights is the right to live and a government has a duty to protect the lives of its people.

In other words, it should not harm people because of their religious beliefs, race, or any other attributes about them.

Now, when a nation does not value its people's right to live, tensions start growing really fast and lives are at risk. A perfect example of this was during World War II when the Nazi government killed nearly 6 million Jews which we know as the holocaust which is a systematic way of killing a group. In addition, there were about 1.5 million Armenians that died in the early 1900s when they were targeted by the government of Turkey. Both of these examples are genocides that violate the right to live and also other rights as well such as freedom of torture, rights to basic needs, etc...

Which area of Texas would most likely have weathering due to Ice Wedging.
Delvig [45]

Gulf Coast is the place that will be affected by Ice Wedging.

Explanation:

Gulf coast faces an important issue that will undermine its status as the oil conglomerate in the US.

This is due to the ice welding further up north that has been responsible for global warming, greenhouse effect and ultimately rising sea levels that is a very real issue that pertains to Texas.

Most of the coastline has rich oil resources and is responsible for most of the trade and it stands a chance of being submerged any time now.

This would mean a drastic fall of economy and displacement of the people.
