What is the difference a limited and general partnership

English
1 answer:
Zielflug [23.3K]3 years ago
7 0

When associating with a company or an individual, there are two common types of partnerships: LIMITED PARTNERSHIP and GENERAL PARTNERSHIP.

In a Limited Partnership, the partner may invest funds in the business but are not involved in the day-to-day management of the business.

This type of partnership is very common in real states, where many partners may be involved under one general partner.

A General Partnership is the most common type of association. Unlike Limited Partnership, here all the partners are involved in day-to-day management. The partners are legally even.

Read this passage from "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Edgar Allan Poe:
Masja [62]
B. oppressively

Gothic literature is characterized by it's gloominess, horror, and darkness. Many things in gothic literature are falling apart and decaying - these things can be part of the setting or a character's mental state. In the choices, the only word that demonstrates this destruction and darkness is oppressively.

Which sentence uses an objective case pronoun as an indirect object?
tamaranim1 [39]

Which sentence uses an objective case pronoun as an indirect object?

I sent him an attachment that included photos of the picnic.

The indirect object him identifies to whom the action of the verb sent is performed.

Wrong options:

I e-mailed him yesterday.

(The direct object him is the receiver of action within this sentence: I emailed him).

He wrote back to Bob and I with an answer to our questions.

(I is not an objective case pronoun; it should be "He wrote back to Bob and me...")

So, once again, the answer is the 2nd sentence (I sent him an attachment that included photos of the picnic.)
