Amoeba are the consumers that surround, engulf, and ingest their food.

Explanation:

Amoeba is a unicellular organism that belongs to the kingdom Protista. This organism are having eukaryotic cells without any cell walls. These organisms have each and every cellular organelle that are needed to perform metabolism.

Amoeba are consumer in mode of nutrition. Whenever they senses some food, they push a part of their cytoplasm packed in cell membrane towards the food to cover it. This process is called pseupodia.

This pseupodia engulfs the food and performs phagocytosis or pinocytosis. This food is covered in a cell membrane inside the cytoplasm which is called the food vacoule or endosome. This then fuses with a lysosome to digest and then the excretory product is let off by the secondary vacoule.

Amoeba are consumers that surround, engulf, and ingest their food.

Explanation:

 • Amoeba is organisms that belong to the kingdom Protista. Protists are eukaryotic, which potential they are made of complex eukaryotic cells, and most are unicellular. An amoeba is a consumer, which ability it has to find and ingest meals to gain strength and survive. Amoeba resembles a blob in their appearance, and goes with the use of pseudopodia, or 'false feet.'
 • This process is explained in the Exocytosis process. Exocytosis is an important system of plant and animal cells as it performs the opposite characteristic of endocytosis. In exocytosis, membrane-bound vesicles containing cellular molecules are transported to the membrane.

Which observation would provide indirect evidence that supports a hypothesis that the bubbles are o2 ?
zhuklara [117]

Explanation:

D. An increase in bubbles on the plant when it is moved under a brighter light.

The rate of photosynthesis increases with light intensity.

The process of photosynthesis is energy-storing, it converts light energy into chemical energy, which is stored in the bonds of glucose. Thus an increase in light intensity would increase the rate of photosynthesis, and more O2 bubbles would be produced as waste.

Further Explanation:

Photosynthesis is a chemical pathway that’s integral to producing energy in plants and other primary producers. Energy in the form of molecules of glucose is produced from light, water and carbon dioxide while oxygen is released.

Occurring in several complex steps, photosynthesis is a rate limited reaction, depends on several factors including carbon dioxide concentration, ambient temperature and light intensity; the energy is retrieved from photons, I.e. particles of light, and water is used as a reducing agent. Water supplies the chlorophyll in plant cell with replacement electrons for the ones removed from photosystem II.

Additionally, water (H2O) split by light during photolysis into H+ and OH- acts as a source of oxygen along with functioning as a reducing agent; it reduces the molecule NADP to NADPH by providing H+ ionsand produces molecules of the energy storage molecule ATP through an electron transport chain.

This occurs in the thykaloids, where pigment molecules like chlorophyll reside. Later, in dark reactions, NADP and NADPH are used in the Calvin cycle where monosaccharides or sugars like glucose are produced after the modification of several molecules. These store energy in their bonds, which can be released in respiration in the mitochondria.

The significance of checkpoints can be demonstrated by considering what happens when they are impaired. What would occur if there
AleksAgata [21]

Answer:

B) Cells will pass through the G1/S checkpoint even if conditions are not ideal for cell division.

Explanation:

The cells will pass through the G1/S checkpoint even if conditions are not ideal for cell division. Because cyclin E is an activator of CdK 2 which stimulates functions of cell entry into S phase.

The most important regulators of Cdk are called cyclin proteins. Cyclines are a family of proteins involved in cell cycle regulation. Cyclines form complexes with cyclin-dependent kinase enzymes (Cdks), activating their kinase function in the latter.

Hope this helps!
