10 + 5 + 1 = 16 - all balls
The probability that the first ball is red:
P(R)=\dfrac{10}{16}=\dfrac{5}{8}
The probability that the second ball is black:
P(B)=\dfrac{1}{15}

The ratio of cups of orange concentrate to cups of water in punch is 1:3. if james made 32 cups of punch, how many cups of orang
vovikov84 [41]
Since the ratio is 1:3, let's just say there are 4 parts to the punch
first, divide the 32cups by 4 parts: 32÷4=8
this means there are 8cups per part
the ratio 1:3 means orange got 1 part and water got 3 parts so 1 part×8cups=8cups

So, James punch required a total of 8 cups of orange concentrate.
