First Page

The first page on the left is in the correct order. I take it that you are to somehow pick 4 of the seven. Anyway the two sentences in blue are in the correct order. By the way, there are 7 spaces and seven statements. Page 3 has 3 of them and 4 has the rest. Never mind this comment. You have to look at all seven choices.

Problem Addressed

I think the order should go

6

7

1

2

3

4

5

But as you said, this is not easy.

I picked this order because, first there was darkness and nothing else. Then the sphere turned up. Then out of the darkness appeared the sphere. Out of the sphere came God who commanded that there be light (a critically important command). The second sentence described the very first thing the light looked like. That's how the earth was created. And what the water seemed to be like.

Finally we learn that there was an animal in the sphere with God. It went down deep and drudged up some mud which kept on expanding. Maybe that was the earth and if it was the order should be 6712453

This is one of those things where the correct answer is in the mind of the person who made up the question. You could almost justify anything.

Travka [436]

It can be inferred that in the story "Ware of Clowns", this play on words implies a conspiracy between the two clowns, who sow death and devastation by influencing the populace with their performance.

The terminology "clown" runs counter to discourses that define war as an unforeseen but necessary evil at defining historical times.

What is an inference?

Inferences are the result of a very logical and consciously rational process where in the facts of a text is examined to rational consistency and a conclusion is reached.

Suffice it to say therefore that the metaphorical reference to "clowns" is suggestive of the fact that the author writes with a cynical or sarcastic tone.

Which sentence is an example of a claim of value from "compulsory voting: An idea Whose Time Has Come"?
jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

D). [Compulsory voting] is the right thing to do for the United States.

Explanation:

A claim of value is illustrated as the claim that offers a conclusion, opinion, or judgment that validates the claim either positively or disproves the claim. It determines whether a claim or belief is justified and could be accepted or not.

As per the question, the sentence that exemplifies a claim of value from "Compulsory voting: An idea Whose Time Has Come" is displayed through option D as it proposes a judgment that 'compulsory voting would be the right thing for the US'. This statement attempts to validate the given claim and therefore, suggests that 'compulsory voting' would be appropriate and beneficial action to be done. Thus, option D is the correct answer.
