What was a creeping barrage? What were its risks to the attacking soldiers?
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

A creeping bombardment, first used at the Battle of the Somme, involved artillery fire going forward in phases only ahead of the advancing infantry. ... To work, both the heavy artillery and the infantry required correct timing of the tactic. Failure to do this would result in their own troops being killed by artillery.

The change in status for women as they assisted the war effort at home was to play a role in helping them to be able to later on
WARRIOR [948]
What time period was this? women got the right to vote in 1920, when the 19th amendment was ratified, and they could hold political office in Washington state since the upper 1800's. It's arguable that they still don't have equal rights.. but that's the only answer that makes sense if this is talking about the WW time periods.

The framers include the supremacy clause in the constitution for what purpose
Shalnov [3]

The Framers included the Supremacy Clause in the Constitution because they believed that the national government needed to have more power than the state governments had.  They felt that the state governments had previously had too much power and that the country would be better off if the national government were more powerful.

First, the Framers felt that there would be no point in having a country if the federal government’s laws were not supreme.  If the states could pass laws that would override the national laws, there would be no real sense in which the states were united.  The Union would essentially just be a confederation in which all states were sovereign.

Hope this helped ;)
