Answer:

Our school’s softball program has a tradition of excellence

Explanation:

A topic sentence refers to the most significant sentence in a paragraph. It is a sentence that summarizes in a brief the main idea of a paragraph

Option 1 speaks only about the coach, it says nothing of the team. Hence, it is incorrect.

Option 2 speaks about how the team won one game (the final), it does not describ the team much. Hence, it is incorrect.

Option 3 speaks about only three of the players on the team rather than the entire team. Hence, it is incorrect.

Option 4 speaks about and encapsulates the whole team. Hence, it is the right choice for a topic sentence about a school's athletic team.

I would say ether B or D. But the main answer I do prefer you choose is "B"
Because the answer "D" needs a sentence behind it to introduce the athletic team.
That is a improper way to start a paragraph up just by talking about your team. You need to introduce them first then start talking about what they did.
Answer: B!

Answer: At the beginning of the story, Jem is prejudiced of Boo, and he considers him a scary isolated ghost. Jem's feelings begin to change after strange and secluded Boo saves him from Bob, who has attacked him and his sister Scout. In the assault, Boo kills Bob with a knife to rescue the children. After the incident, Jem realizes Boo is a worthy person.

The story suggests that people should not have preasumed opinions that are not based on reason or experience. As a result, the best way to understand people who are different from us is not to judge others before we get to know them.
