Although the skirmish had little military significance, it marked a clear break between the colonists and the Mexican government and is considered to have been the start of the Texas Revolution. So, if there were a company that were selling metal, they would be able to use media and other things to expose there selves. One way that it could influence the government would be that it would show that the government allows people to expose their own business as to first have a business, and then to allow for themselves to make the money and to make propaganda and other advertisements to make their company a bigger company.
