I remember as if it were yesterday that my mother Loida adopted me, it was the happiest day of my life. I was at the orphanage with my bags all packed outside the orphanage waiting for my soon to be mother. To me the minutes turned into hours, of course I was just a child; time was very slow to me. Soon enough after some time passed a black car parked in front of the orphanage and a decent looking lady with red dress and glasses stepped outside the car. Immediately that she saw me she ran towards me and hugged me. I can’t express the joy I felt when I received for the first time that warm and tender embrace. To be honest that day went by quickly and soon enough I went to bed. The nighttime turned into daylight and I remember waking up very confused. My adoptive mother Loida was making my bed while I was still in it and the sheets were so tucked in and well in place that I wasn’t able to move. “Mom, I’m stuck on the bed” I said. Loida jumped in fright “Oh my son it’s you. I had forgotten, you see before you came to this house you have no idea how many times I made your bed so it would be perfect when you came. I suppose it got stuck to me”. Never had I been so moved by that tender gesture of love.

I apologize that this story is quite long, I hope it may give you use :)

In the poem "Grass", the grass is the speaker. True or False
Maksim231197 [3]

True, the grass growing in the battlefield's role was to replace death and loss with growth.

The type of poem "anyone lived in a pretty how town" is narrative. Ballad is a poem or song that is narrated in short stanzas, while acrostic is a type of poem where certain letters spell out a phrase or word. E.E narrates the life of anyone living in pretty how town beautifully, so I'd say narrative.

False. "In a Station of the Metro" is an iconic Imagist poem, but is more considered as the first haiku, even though it lacks the structure of a traditional haiku.
