Answer:

Proteins have different molecular weight, shape, size and isolelectric point. All these characteristics can be used for the separation and identification of the proteins.

The proteins X,Y and Z can be analyzed by using the HPLC ( high performance liquid chromatography) or western blot assay. The concentration of the proteins in the solution is compared with the unused control. The missing content from the solution will be present on material. The material surface can further be analyzed by the fluorescent assay or colometric assay. The proteins absorb different lights at different wavelength.

Quaternary consumers are not _______. A. Consumers b. Prey c. Predators d. Animals Please select the best answer from the choice
My name is Ann [436]

The answer is; B

Quaternary consumers sit at the very top of food chains and have no natural predators. An example is the eagle bird. These animals die naturally and are consumed by decomposers or scavengers. Quaternary consumers are usually few in number in their populations – this can be depicted in the tapering form of an ecosystem’s energy pyramid.
