No, I would say that this is false: the reason is the following:

People actually originated in West Africa. After this, many migrations happened, including the Migrations to Europe, Asia, America and Australia. The division of people into countries came many thousands of years later and the name "Kenyan" began to mean something many thousand years after there were people in West Africa.
