Which best states how the price of oil per barrel changed between 1976 and 1981?

The correct answer is - The price more than doubled.

The price of the oil from 1976 to 1981 more than doubled, in fact it was very very close to actually tripled in price in this short time span. The average price of the oil in 1976 was 13.48 USD while in 1981 it 37.10 USD, which hit the people very hard on their budget.

The reason for such a dramatic increase of the oil price were the war between Iran and Iraq (one of the biggest oil producers), as well as the Iran embargo. Because the amount of oil on the market decreased, while the demand for it was an ever-growing one, the prices went significantly up.

Select Topography and Major Plates on the World Geology map. Describe the topography at the boundaries between the following pai
aev [14]

South American and Nazca tectonic plate boundary;

The boundary between the South American and the Nazca plates is a vibrant one. These two plates have the same density, so they collide and lift the land upwards, which is why the Andean Mountain Range formed. Occasionally there are earthquakes and they can be very strong. This is a convergent boundary.

Indian and Eurasian tectonic plate boundary;

The tectonic between the Indian and the Eurasian tectonic plates is also a convergent one, where we have two tectonic plates with the same density pushing against each other, and thus lifting up the land, which is how the Himalayan Mountain Range was formed. The earthquakes are relatively rare, and are of different velocity.

Pacific and North American tectonic boundary;

The border between these two plates is a a convergent one as well, but the Pacific plate has a smaller density than the North American one, so it is subducting underneath it. This brings in a very big geological activity, so there's multiple volcanoes and volcanic activities, as well as a big amount of earthquakes.

Advantages of these map is that it posses an advantage which help in revealing overall tendencies as well as  movement patterns and this makes it to be better than the traditional visual representations.

Disadvantages of this map is that the analysis can be challenging because of the  unlimited directions by space which could involves  North, South and the rest.

KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

C the role of religion increased and became more prominent

Explanation:

During Stalin's regime, religion was banned and it was practically removed from the country. Only during world war 2 did Stalin let religion back in and only to raise morale for the troops and civilians. But he was very bad to minorities just like he was to the Russians, he ordered many artists to be jailed or killed and nationalists of any sort were not only suppressed but punished severely.
