0.5 cup   -   64 g                64 = 0.5 · 128
2 cups    -   256 g              256 = 2 · 128
It means that : 1 cup is equivalent of 128 g.
A ) A function that shows grams as a function of cups:
g ( x ) = 128 x
B ) Domain:
0 ≤ x <  ∞
( because there aren`t any negative values for x )

Hence, the equation for the question (7) is n + 19 = 84 and equation for (8) is 3n = 12. It can be solved by linear equation in one variable.

What is a linear equation in one variable?

A linear equation in one variable is written as ax+b = 0. Here, a and b are constants and x is a variable.

(7)

Consider n number of baseball cards does Mike have. Since this is 19 less then the cards Allan have hence, as you add 19 in n then it will give 84.

n + 19 = 84

(8)

Consider the speed of Michelle is n. As, it is 3 times less than the speed of the Jamie hence, it you multiply 3 with n then it will give 12.

    3n = 12

Hence, the equation for the question (7) is n + 19 = 84 and equation for (8) is 3n = 12.

Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

519 meters square

Step-by-step explanation:

16 x 16 = 256

256 / 2 = 128

11.5 + 34 = 391

128 + 391

100 + 300 = 400

20 + 90 = 110

8 + 1 = 9

400 + 110 + 9 = 519
