Cultural diffusion is what i believe affected the European culture
There were a lot of changes to education during the High Middle Ages. Because of the Crusades, people had access to new knowledge and educational practices around the world.
Students learned in languages other than Latin, although Latin was the main language used,
More universities were developed during the High Middle Ages, as well. They taught many different subjects.
Studies focused on more than just Christian Studies in the High Middles ages, as opposed to the earlier Medieval times. During those earlier times, only churches provided education to high born people.

Not everyone in the South operated with slaves as their labor force. There were also smaller family farms and such. But those who did hold slaves in operating plantations held large numbers of slaves, and so the institution of slavery was a gigantic part of the Southern economy.
The Pasteur Institute, a non-profit organisation is dedicated to the study of subjects such as Biology. Research in vaccines, micro-organisms and vaccines is also invested in, being named after Louis Pasteur who is accredited to have made some of the most outstanding breakthroughs in modern medicine during his time. Such include pasteurization and discovery of anthrax and rabies vaccines.
