Business intelligence also know as BI is a way for companies to showcase their straggles and technology to analyze data and information. They provide past, current and future views for a business.

Zillow lists a home for sale and will show you the past price it sold for, current value and predict the market value increase or decrease based on trends. This allows for homebuyers to make a forecasted decision on where and what is the best investment to buy. Zillow will keep a running tab and continue to predict property values for years to come.

Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

The 3,448 units of Q-Drive would be required to sold at the break-even point.

Explanation:

For computing the how many units is to be sold at the break even point, first we have to calculate the contribution margin after that break even point is to be calculated, and than finally sale units is calculated.

1. Contribution : The contribution margin is a difference between selling price and variable cost per unit.

In mathematically,

Contribution margin = Selling price - variable cost per unit

So, for Q Drive, the contribution margin will be

= $150 - $90 = $60 per unit

Hence, the contribution margin for Q Drive is $60 per unit

Now, for Q Drive Plus , the contribution margin will be

= $195 - $105 = $80 per unit

Hence, the contribution margin for Q Drive Plus is $80 per unit

Now, the break even point is

=  Fixed cost ÷ Total contribution margin

where,

Total contribution margin =  sales mix 30% of contribution margin for Q Drive +sales mix 70 % of contribution margin for Q Drive Plus

=  30% × $60 + 70% × $80 = $74 per unit

Hence, the total contribution margin is $74 per unit

So, break even point is $850,500 ÷ $74 per unit = 114,93 units

So, sale value of units = 30% sales mix of break even point

                                     = 30% × 114,93 units

                                     = 3,448 units.

Thus, the 3,448 units of Q-Drive would be required to sold at the break-even point.

Alla [95]

Answer:

$16,000

Explanation:

The computation of the depreciation expense under the straight-line method is shown below:

= (Original cost - residual value) ÷ (useful life)

= ($90,000 - $10,000) ÷ (5 years)

= ($80,000) ÷ ( 5 years)

= $16,000

We simply deduct the salvage value from the original cost and then divide it by its useful life. So, that the depreciation expense would come for the particular year

Andru [333]

Answer:

the margin of safety in dollars is $1,236,200

Explanation:

The computation of the margin of safety in dollars is shown below:

= Total sales - break even sales

= (41,200 units - 32,370 units) × $140 per unit

= $1,236,200

We simply deduct the break even sales from the total sales so that the margin of safety in dollars come

Hence, the margin of safety in dollars is $1,236,200
