Which of the following statements is FALSE regarding translation?
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

Regarding translation the following statements is false: The mRNA strand is read from 3' to 5' direction during translation.

Explanation:

The primary structures for protein synthesis are the ribosomes, organelles composed by the association of proteins with rRNA and tRNA. During translation, mRNAs are read in the 5´ to 3´ direction, and tRNA transfer amino acids to build the polypeptide chain. The protein is synthesized from the amino terminus to the carboxy terminus. Each amino acid is specified by a codon formed by three bases in the mRNA. mARNs have a start and end codon that tells the ribosome where to start and stop adding amino acids. When the ribosome reaches the end codon, it means that protein synthesis is finished.

Could plants live without animals, 4 reasons why
Rudiy27
No. Plants need animals to spread their seeds. Animals also loosen the ground for seeds or other forms of plants(not everything uses seeds right?) If animals didn't eat some plants certain plants would over populate some areas, killing off the other plant life (it has a fancy name I forgot it) and last of all deceased animals sometimes provide as nutrition for other plants.
