So loyalists could be like

insane, revolutionary, treasonous, men dump some of English finest tea in to the sea!  

Patriots could be like

we stuck it to the king, dump out the tea!!!

The Patriots were the white colonists that supported the idea of Independence from the English crown. They were the ones that supported the Revolutionary War and were tired of the many injustices and heavy taxation imposed by the British crown.

I'm assuming you'ret talking about either WWII or WWI, but it's the same concept. They made sure everybody knew about it. Posters were everywhere letting people know about their fellow Americans in the war and to donate lots of money and supplies.
