During this time, news reports about the war were spreading globally,
and Germany, the one responsible for the World War I also sends news. However,
it was easier for the Americans to receive British news than German news also
because of the language barrier.</span>
The revolution of 1848 benefited Louis Napoleon so much. When the election for Presidency was held, he filed a candidacy and won the election which made him the President of the Republic. The revolution of 1848 meant the end of the rule of King Louis Philippe.
On 28 August 1963, more than 200,000 demonstrators took part in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in the nation's capital. The march was successful in pressuring the administration of John F. Kennedy to initiate a strong federal civil rights bill in Congress.
