Connotation is something that is implied, not explicitly told.

For example, the connotation of school could be a place to get knowledge for one person, and for another person it could mean that school is a place to enjoy with your friends.

The word "liar" has a negative connotation.

Do you trust the source? Why or why not? Give a reason
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

There are several main criteria for determining whether a source is reliable or not.

1) Accuracy. Verify the information you already know against the information found in the source. Look also for disclaimers as to the accuracy of the content. You may also want to double-check the information against a source that you already know is trustworthy. Even though a source may use technical language, the content may be misleading.

Why does raymond think that children like scout and dill can understand his secret better than adults?
Nady [450]
Mr. Raymond thinks this, because Scout and Dill have not yet been alive long enough to become corrupted and hateful. The adults in Maycomb have built up years of gossip and prejudices, but Raymond sees young children such as Scout and Dill as a type of clean slate, who can still be educated about the way others live, and can understand things differently than the others in town.
