Answer:

x=4

Explanation:

since it is an isosceles triangle, line x splits the base into 2 equal parts.

using a smaller triangle we know the sides are 5,3,x

now use Pythagorean theorem

5=\sqrt{x^{2} +3^{2} }

x=\sqrt{5^{2}-3^{2}  }

x = \sqrt{16}

x = 4, -4

since length cannot be negative, x = 4

Hierarchical diffusion is diffusion based on the geography of gender.<br><br> True<br><br> False
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Hierarchical diffusion is the spread of information from one hierarchical level to another, usually downwards, but can also be upwards.

An example of downwards propagation is when the president of a company announced there will be cuts in various departments.  He transmits the news to the department chiefs, who relay it to the employees.

An upwards propagation might be when call center employees report repeated problems encountered by the customers to their supervisor, who moves it up to their boss and so on.

Gender and geography has nothing to do with that.

Which is an example of oil as a strategic commodity?
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

D. Kuwait trades oil for technology with the United States

Explanation:

This is the best answer since oil is a very useful commodity other countries will trade other resources like technology for it.

C. is incorrect because this isn't using oil as a strategic commodity. this is just using force to get what they want.

A. is incorrect because it clearly doesn't mention trading oil.

B. is incorrect because it's not using oil strategically. Trading oil for other resources that we need is strategic.

So that leaves D which is correct.
