Answer:

maintained.

Explanation:

Japan, after surrender in World War II, was occupied by the United States. This occupation lasted until the signing of the San Francisco Peace Agreement, which took place in 1951. From 1952, Japan again became an “independent” country, and US occupation troops left the country as stipulated by the agreement.

During the occupation several reforms were established to secure American power over the Japanese (among these reforms was the prohibition of the Japanese government from creating an army) and the subordination of Japan to the US government. Even given the nature of the reforms, most of them were retained when the occupation was over and still exist today.

Who ruled during the dark ages of greece
kondor19780726 [428]
The Dark ages of Greece is considered to be the time period after the Mycenaean civilization had declined, which  was around 1200 BC, and before the Archaic period of Greece, which was around 800 BC.

During those times it seems that a period of impoverishment ensued and very little is actually known. With that, we don't even know which were the ruling dynasties and kings in those times.

How the rus became an orthodox state
Zinaida [17]
The Russian Orthodox Church (Russian: Русская Православная Церковь) is traditionally said to have been founded by Andrew the Apostle, who is thought to have visited Scythia and Greek colonies along the northern coast of the Black Sea. According to one of the legends, St. Andrew reached the future location of Kiev and foretold the foundation of a great Christian city.[1][2] The spot where he reportedly erected a cross is now marked by St. Andrew's Cathedral
