Answer:

HIV is the infection that weaks the immune system of the body by attacking T-helper cells. As HIV affects the immune system people infected with HIV are at increased risk of having certain kinds of cancer due to the weakening of the immune system.

Research shows that patient infected with HIV are having a high risk of cancer because the number of CD 4 cells becomes low in HIV infection that fight with the initial form of cancer.

Kaposi's sarcoma is a cancer occurs in cells lining the nose, mouth, throat and commonly occurs in HIV patients. Lymphoma is also a cancer caused during HIV infection which affects the lymphatic system of the body.

When performing a wall sit or a squat (repeated motion with the squat), what major muscle groups are being used
Katen [24]

The major muscles involved while performing a wall sit or squat are the quadriceps muscles.

Explanation:

Exercises like wall sit or squat are an isometric exercises which works the entire group of lower body muscles.

Isometric exercises are endurance building exercises which improves the muscle endurance by holding it in a position for longer time. These exercises does not involve any big bodily movements but works by tensing the muscles.

Both these exercises primarily involve the front thigh muscles or the quadriceps. Squats and wall sits help to tone and shape the quads and other muscles involved. The angle of the body should be maintained at right angle to reduce the pressure on these muscles.

Other muscles which are involved in these exercises are the hamstrings, core, lower back muscles etc.

If you were looking at epithelial tissue in an are of the body where exchange of gases takes place, would you expect to see simp
raketka [301]
An example of an epithelial tissue where gases are exchanged is alveolar epithelium, which can be found in the lungs. This tissue is simple epithelial tissue. This is to be expected because the cell layer needs to be thin enough for the gasses like carbon dioxide and oxygen to diffuse or pass through. Stratified epithelial tissue contains several cell layers that would impair the exchange of gasses.
