The problems of farmers in American Society during gilded age is overproduction.

Explanation:

The president worked to hammer out a trade to deal with China, Mexico and Canada. American farmers are compensated to billions of dollars to help them through their rough situation.

America's farmers are the victims of their success. The advanced agricultural technology allows more productivity from fewer workers, the lower price of good goes and fewer farmers are needed.

Government can provide minor support and will not cause any problems.
