More erosion in the west and more depression on the eastern side.

  • The east coast of the United States is known as the eastern seaboards and found along the shoreline of the Atlantic ocean.  
  • They derived the idea of about the 48 states and the region has a continental climate and warm summers and cold and snowy winter.  
  • And being a low relief and a passive margin coast is shaped by the process of the glaciation and has many offshore islands.
  • The western coast is along the northern pacific ocean and is defined by the eastern Alaska Range and Mojave desert.  
  • It has a cold current that moderates the climate and the being a beach area has more of the erosion and tectonic activities as like the faults and folds.
