Than the battle moved on in Bosnia, with the Serbians, Croatians, and Bosnian Muslims fighting against each other, resulting in several massacres and genocides. Only Macedonia managed to get out of Yugoslavia without military conflict, though it was under threat of it.
The end result was large scale destruction, thousands of people murdered, and huge migration wave toward Western Europe and the Nordic countries.
