How are prices determined in a market
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

Demand and supply

Explanation:

In a market, the demand for a product and the supply of the products affect the price of them.

If a product has limited supply, the price will rise because it is rarer.

If a product has a lot of supply, the price will decrease because it is common.

If product demand is high, prices will rise because sellers want to earn more money.

If product demand is low, prices will sink because sellers need to make some sort of revenue and if the product doesn't sell, they've lost money. If they sell it at a lower price, at least they make some money back.

Of course, there are more factors but demand and supply are the main two, especially in a free market economy.

Read the following student perspective and then choose your answer.
Anit [1.1K]

The closest approach is that the student is qualifying the author's claim. Because it simplifies the author's argument with the example of cable TV channels and makes it clear that television affects Americans' lives when it comes to politics. It is enough to see the number of networks devoted to political updates. The student collaborated with new elements like a real example for reflection to prove the author's point of view.

What error in parallelism is made in the following sentence? Not only vacuuming, but the family wants to dust and straighten up
AleksAgata [21]

The correct answer is D. it uses imperfect coordinating structure.

Parallelism refers to the use of the same word form throughout a particular sentence. So, in the example above, in order to achieve parallelism, we would need to change the word 'vacuuming' into 'to vacuum,' in order to keep the consistency with the other two verbs: 'to dust' and '(to) straighten up.'
