According to Erikson, Fatin is suffering from Stagnation. It is a situation in which a person aged between 40 to 65 feels stagnant and unproductive. These people feel disconnected and uninvolved with their community, and society as a whole. They find no charm in their daily routine life. They don't have much feelings for their children, spouse and work. They find their jobs boring. This is called stagnation.

So in this situation, if Fatin feels like shattered or has no charm in life or doesn't find any purpose in life, he is definitely suffering from stagnation.

Explain how Charlemagne's empire is an example of cooperation between the Church and European monarchs.
Snezhnost [94]

Charlemagne united Western Europe with other European regions after the Roman Empire. During his ruling, the Carolingian Renaissance was fostered within the Church. French and German monarchies viewed themselves as descendants of Charlemagne's empire. The support Charlemagne gave to the Church, made the Pope consider him as a legitimate Roman Emperor.
