This is under point slope intercept. so Ax+Bx=Cx. you can always change this to slope intercept which will be -.6y=.2x+.12 then give 1 a variable like 1 or 2 or something. then solve it, -.6y=.2+.12, -.6y=.32, y=-.53 so when x is 1, y is -.53. then make x 2 so -.6y=.52 so then when x is 2 y is -.86

The easiest way to graph this equation would be using the intercepts. I would also make my scale on the axis in fifths because of the answers we will get.
To get the x intercept plug a zero in for y and solve.
-.2x-.6y=.12 -.2x-.6(0)=.12
x=-3/5
-.2(0)-.6y=.12 -.6y=.12
y= - 1/5

The girl ran 5 miles * 2 + 60 + 54
kupik [55]

Answer:

Equation = 1/4 x + 25 = 70

Solution = $180

Explanation:

Let the original amount she had before she went shopping be x

If she spent one-fourth on sloth, then the amount spent on cloth will be;

1/4 x

If she receives another $25 a week later totalling her money $70, then the equation that represents the situation will be;

1/4 x + 25 = 70

Find the solution

1/4 x + 25 = 70

1/4 x = 70 - 25

1/4 x = 45

x = 45 * 4

x = 180

Hence the amount she had before going for shoppind was $180

What is the center of the hyperbola whose equation is (y+3)^2/81-(x-6)^2/89=1?
xxMikexx [17]

We have been given an equation of hyperbola \frac{(y+3)^2}{81}-\frac{(x-6)^2}{89}=1. We are asked to find the center of hyperbola.

We know that standard equation of a vertical hyperbola is in form \frac{(y-k)^2}{b^2}-\frac{(x-h)^2}{a^2}=1, where point (h,k) represents center of hyperbola.

Upon comparing our given equation with standard vertical hyperbola, we can see that the value of h is 6.

To find the value of k, we need to rewrite our equation as:

\frac{(y-(-3))^2}{81}-\frac{(x-6)^2}{89}=1

Now we can see that value of k is -3. Therefore, the vertex of given hyperbola will be at point (6,-3) and option D is the correct choice.

-5(x-3)= -25<br> find x pls :)
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

x =8

Step-by-step explanation:

-5(x-3)= -25

we apply distributive property

-5*x +5*3 =-25

-5x +15= -25

-5x = -25-15

-5x = -40

x = 40/5

x =8
