Answer:

The correct answer must be A)

Explanation:

The fourteenth amendment was adopted in 1868, after the end of the civil war. Amendment 13 abolished slavery in 1865, while Amendment 14 resolved the citizenship issue of former freed slaves born in the United States.

Previous Supreme Court decisions, such as the "Dred Scott v. Sandford" case in 1857, determined that African Americans could never be U.S. citizens. The 14th Amendment invalidated that argument.

Pls answer number 3 pls! I don’t understand it!
MrMuchimi

Answer:

number 3 is asking which region (Pacific Northwest, Midwest, southern, etc...) is least populated. this map says that each dot equates a certain amount of people. therefore, a section of the map with more dots will be more populated. so the east is definitely not right because there are so many dark blue dots clustered there. the center of the US (the south/North Dakota area mostly) in contrast has way fewer dots.

The Kennedy administration was involved in:
malfutka [58]

Answer:  A) The Cuban Missile Crisis

Context/detail:

The Cuban Missile Crisis was a tense face-off between America, led by President John F. Kennedy and the Soviet Union, led by Nikita Khrushchev, in October of 1962, over the placement of Soviet missiles on the island of Cuba, close to the United States home territory.  It is often stated that this moment was the closest the USA and the USSR ever came to the eruption of an actual nuclear war between the two superpowers.
