Answer: False

Explanation: Plants adapt to the environment in which they are found so that they can survive in a better way.

The plant like cactus is adapted to live in the desert as it is suited to live there. The plants in the desert conditions have spiny leaves so as to reduce transpiration.

The plants that are found in the tundra regions have adaptation to live in the colder conditions.

What is true about microevolution?
iris [78.8K]
Microevolution refers to changes that occur within a single species or group or organisms.  Microevolution, as opposed to macroevolution, occurs in a short period of time. In microevolution, the ancestor and the descendant obviously belong to the same type.  For example, certain pests have evolved in such a way that they become immune to pesticides; the same thing has happened to certain weeds and herbicides. Hope this helps.

Why is it more important to check for errors during dna replication than during translation?
marshall27 [118]
I think the answer would be because if there is an error in the DNA replication, it would affect one generation of cells. if the error would fall in the transcription or translation, there would only be one cell affected.
