From the table, solution is (-3, 4)

12x + 3y = 12 => 3(4x + y) = 12. . . (1)
y = -4x + 5 => 4x + y = 5 . . . (2)

Since, the left hand side of (2) is a factor of the left hand side of (1), the system is dependent.
