Answer:

The evidence from <em>Macbeth</em> by William Shakespeare that supports the idea that Lady Macbeth believes her husband to be weak and coward is <em>B: Wouldst thou have that / Which thou esteem'st the ornament of life, / And live a coward in thine own esteem.</em>

Explanation:

In these lines, and the one that follows in her speech, Lady Macbeth expresses her feelings about her husband being a "<em>coward</em>" and having a low self esteem when she says: "<em>As thou art in desire? Wouldst thou have that / Which thou esteem'st the ornament of life, / And </em><em>live a coward in thine own esteem,</em>". In the following line her beliefs develop a little bit more when she adds: "<em>Letting </em><em>'I dare not' </em><em>wait upon 'I would',</em>" I think it is very clear that <u>she thinks he doesn't dare to be brave and would rather live with fear than act based on his beliefs</u>, that is why I chose the second option.

What is ironic about Haley's "humane" approach to taking slave children from their mothers?
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

What's ironic about it is that what she's doing isn't humane at all.

Taking innocent children who've done nothing wrong to you from their innocent mothers who've done nothing wrong to you is the most savage, inhumane, and heart-breaking thing a living organism can do to any other kind of living organism.
